A gathering of truth: Part 1

I've come across a lot of people who think Glenn Beck is a right wing conservative nut who does nothing but spread lies and participate in shameless fear mongering. Their claims are almost always completely unsupported and the ones that do have any support soon fall apart after a little bit of analysis. The real fact is that Beck does nothing but spread truth. If the truth is scary (which it often is) that doesn't make him a fear monger, that makes him an informer. His information is always backed up by large amount of research and commonly comes along with a video or audio clip. There is also a red phone in the recording studio that is a direct line that only the White House has the number to. It is there SPECIFICALLY for somebody to call and correct Beck if he is ever wrong. However, nobody has EVER called.

But I don't want you to take all this on my own word, I want to make a list this week of the thing's he's talked about and the alarming truth that he's shared.

1. Mark Lloyd
This man is a fan of the Venezuelan dictator, Hugo Chavez. He is quoted saying,
"Venezuela with Chavez really an incredible revolution, a democratic revolution ..."
"We're in a position where you have to — you have to say, who is going to step down so someone else can have power?"
"What we're really saying is that the Fairness Doctrine's not enough and that having a — having a sort of overarching rule that says, you know, broadcasters ought to be fair, ought to provide issues important to communities and that they ought to do it in a fair and balanced way is simply enough unless you put some teeth into that and put some hard structural rules in place that are going to result in fairness."

So he's a fan of a communist dictator, he's in favor removing people from power and replacing them simply for the sake of diversity rather than their qualifications, and finally, he believes that the Fairness Doctrine (this relates to the media being fair and balanced in their reporting) is not adequate and should be replaced by "hard structural rules". Keep in mind, that last one is kind of subject to freedom of press, but who needs that anyways....right? All these quotes were accompanied by either video or audio clip. How you gonna argue with that?

2. Death Panels
Earlier in the year Beck reported on the idea of death panels. This was based on the idea that they're wanting to add health care for 30 million additional people without any more doctors and expect there not to be rationing. Understandably, there WOULD be rationing and as a result, there would be a panel of people who decides which individual will get health care and which will not. This is where the name 'Death Panel' comes from. But what did left wing people have to say about it? They blatently denied any claims about death panels and personally attacked Sarah Palin and Beck.
KEITH OLBERMANN, MSNBC: There is no "death panel." There is no judgment based on societal productivity. There is no worthiness test.
JOSH LEVS, CNN CORRESPONDENT: In the end, the lie of the year, by far, according to poltifact.com — there's our drum roll — was this: It was from former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin saying seniors and the disabled would have to stand in front of Obama's death panel so that bureaucrats can decide whether they are worthy of health care.
But in the end the NY Times had this to say about health care:
"The competing demands could deepen political battles over the size and role of the government, the trade-offs between taxes and spending, the choices between helping older generations versus younger ones and the bottom-line questions about who should ultimately shoulder the burden."
3. Cash for Clunkers
Beck reported on the story of how when car dealers logged onto the site cars.gov, the disclaimer states that their computer now belongs to the government. They waive any kind of ownership of their computer to the government. This was all true, but what did the left wing people have to say about it?
Trueslant.com: "Beck's hysterical rantings have no basis in reality or fact and as usual the same dedicated collection of wing-nuts and conspiracy theorists have picked up the story as gospel truth ..."
Little Green Footballs: "Is there a point at which most reasonable people will start realizing that Glenn Beck is a raving freakazoid nut sandwich? What a disgrace; this is nothing but unjustifiable fear-mongering ..."
Blog For All: "Beck is an idiot who clearly hasn't done his research ... there's plenty of things to criticize about the (cash) for clunkers program ... but this isn't one of them."
All those people slandering and smearing Beck without any factual basis what-so-ever. So what did the government do about that disclaimer? They changed it the very...next....day. If it was a false story then WHY would they bother changing it? The White House's response was that it was improperly worded. Does it really make sense that the lawyers were so bad that they couldn't properly word a $2 Billion program that was designed to kick-start the economy? This seizure of property is completely unjustified. But think about this, when Bush was president the left wing made a HUGE deal about the patriot act, and yet Obama is president now and the Patriot Act is still here...You don't hear a single word from the left about that.

4. Saul Alinsky
He was a radical leftist who wrote the book "Rules for Radicals". His whole idea was to take from the 'haves' and give to the 'have nots' (for those of you who don't know, this is communism). He also believed that "the ends justify almost any means" and "success or failure is determinant of ethics". Left wing people simply say that Alinsky is irrelevant today, he's just a radical from the 60s. And yet, unknown to most people, the picture taken of Obama teaching in the classroom shows him teaching the views...of Saul Alinsky. But during the election when Obama was asked about his views on Saul Alinsky, he refused to answer. So he'll teach it...but he won't talk about it.

No American president would agree with Saul Alinsky! But what did others have to say about Alinsky?
Chris Matthews: "I get a thrill up my leg when I hear Obama speak."and "It's my job to make this presidency a success."
Ya that's just great....but what did he say about Saul Alinsky?
Chris Matthews: "Well to reach back to one of our heroes from the past from the 60s, Saul Alinsky once said that even though both sides have flaws in their argument, you can always find something nuanced about your own side you don't like and it's never perfect. You have to act in the end, like there is simple black and white clarity between your side and the other side or you don't get anything done. I always try to remind myself of Saul Alinsky when I get confused."
Ya it really looks like Chris Matthews thinks Saul Alinsky is an irrelevant radical from the 60s...that quote was also said to the only socialist in congress, Bernie Sanders, just a coincidence I'm sure. Robert Creamer stole over $2 Million from banks but people just say that he was trying to help the poor. Sound familiar? Let success determine your morals, use any means possible to achieve those ends. Sounds an awful lot like Saul Alinsky.

5. Chairman Mao Tse-tung
This man was a communist dictator of China who was responsible for the deaths of over an estimated 70 million people! He set up Chineese Gulags and set political opponents to reform camps to humiliate them. He then declared that any who struggle should be shot. The largest cause of death during the time was suicide but Mao said,
"The people who attempt to commit suicide, don't attempt to save them. China is such a populous nation that it's not as if we couldn't do without a few people..." and "We are prepared to sacrifice 300 million people for the victory of the Chinese revolution."
His killing spree never made it to 300 million but was stopped short at only 70 million....Does this sound like the kind of person our nation's leaders should be taking council from? Absolutely not! And yet we have quotes like these:
Anita Dunn: "...and the third lesson and tip actually comes from two of my favorite political philosophers Mao Tse-tung and Mother Teresa, not often coupled with each other but the two people I turn to most"
Ron Bloom: "We know this is largely about power, that it's and adults only no limit game. We kind of agree with Mao that political power comes largely from the barrel of a gun"
What did they say in response when asked about these comments? Well Anita said "I was only kidding" and Ron Bloom didn't have anything to say, he wouldn't take any questions. Is that alarming to anyone else? That these people in the Obama administration are taking guidance from a man who killed 70 million people? On a related note, this last Christmas it was noticed that on the White House Christmas tree was a decorative ball with a picture of Mao Tse-tung on it. I'm sure that was just a joke as well. There were ornaments like those, there wasn't a single one with a picture of Washington, Jefferson, or Madison on it beside the one with a picture of Mount Rushmore on it. But even that one replaced one of the faces with Obama's picture.

This administration is a disgrace and a mockery and I plan to make that clear by the end of the week. You may hate Glenn Beck and that's your right, but every one of the things listed here were stated by Beck and ALL of them really happened. Just because the truth is scary and it hurts, doesn't make it not true. Just because you don't want to believe it, doesn't mean you shouldn't believe it. Things really are as bad as this makes them look, wake up and do something about it before it's too late. We're a republic, not a dictatorship, we have the power to vote people out of office, keep that in mind for this next year's election.

Still believe the health care plan is "good"?

I know most people don't like to take the time to watch videos, but at least watch the first two. And after you've watched them, all the way through, tell me that you're still in favor of the government's health care plan.

Ummmm.....WHAT????

I don't know if there's a shred of truth in this video but if there is, we're in a lot bigger trouble than even I realized. I think a good chuck of the things said in this are pretty hard to deny and ALL of it seems completely possible. But please give me your comments, feel free to point out any problems you see with it. Don't blatantly bash it because you're a naive fool that thinks Obama can do no wrong. Objectively review it using real logic...not that fake stuff you use to sound like you know what you're talking about.

And you thought Obama would be true to his word?

I remember Obama making many wild promises when he was running for president. He obviously just said whatever he could to make the people like him. He said he'd give them what they wanted. Well one of the things he promised was complete transparency of the white house. Obama hasn't followed through on a single one of his promises yet and specifically he is NOT BEING TRANSPARENT. Take a look at this.

The ACTA Internet Chapter: Putting the Pieces Together

For those of you who don't understand it, this is a government treaty between such countries as the US, Australia, Japan, Korea, Canada, and many countries in Europe, designed to enforce a global DMCA. For those of you who don't know what DMCA is, it stands for Digital Millennium Copyright Act. What it would essentially do is grant any of the governments in the treaty the power to search anybody, seize anybody's assets, and punish anybody from any other country in the treaty for what they consider to be copyright infringement. This may not seem like a big deal, most people agree pirating media and software is bad. But what you may not see is that this is massively unconstitutional and an unbelievable loss of freedom.

The internet is supposed to be a place where you have seemingly complete freedom. This treaty would not just allow our government to police the internet, but every other government as well. To make things worse, I'm not just talking about Japan coming after you for sharing a copy of a movie, how would you feel if you made a youtube video and used the Pirate of the Caribbean theme song, only to have the police barge into your house, take your computer, and put you in jail simply because some other country told them to? Who's to say what they consider copyright? Burning a backup copy of a DVD, using a song in a movie, recording your favorite TV show, playing music in an office without paying royalties? You think to yourself, "ohh but that wouldn't happen." BUT IT COULD! That's the kind of power we're signing away here!

So what does this have to do with Obama? Well, you'd think that something of this magnitude would be on the news and out there in the open. WRONG, it's all happening behind closed doors under the ruse of "National Security". HOW is this a matter of national security? It's not, that's what. Fact be told, Obama and his administration are intentionally hiding it because they know there is no way on earth that the people would agree to something of that magnitude. It's amazing the treaty got leaked in the first place. So it makes you wonder, if Obama is hiding something like this, what else is he hiding? I just can't fathom how people are so trusting of him when he has done absolutely nothing to earn the trust of the people. I know everyone wanted  savior, but Obama is not that man. He is human and he's corruptible, if not corrupt already. Every man has his price, what makes you think he's still a "good guy"?

Global Warming, fact or the biggest hoax in the history of the world?!?!?

Alright I'm just kidding about landing on the moon. That's a different topic for another day. But really now, global warming, over the past decade myself and many others have grown up being taught that greenhouse gasses (co2) trap the suns heat inside our atmosphere and slowly cause the temperature to rise. There have been countless scientists that stand by this theory and still back it to this day. But what if they're wrong? After all, didn't the world once think the earth was flat? There were a lot of scientists that went along with that one too.

Lets, for the sake of argument, assume that global warming is not actually cause by greenhouse gasses, what would this mean? It would either mean that all the research done proving it is wrong, or that the scientists know they're wrong and intentionally lie about it. There's no good reason to why all these scientists would have gotten it wrong so they surely would have had to have intentionally messed it up. What if they messed with the numbers, made it look worse that it was?

But why would they do that? Well if you go through all that schooling and you're a scientist you have to make money somehow. If you went out and studied how humans affected the environment and came back saying, "Not much is going on", you'd be out of a job. By messing up the number and saying, "This is a big deal! There's going to be an ice age!" there would be tons of money to be made. And what about all the other scientists, why did they jump on board? Same reason, lots of money to be made. Even now, still assuming what I've said is true, think of how much power and control is currently involved in the subject of climate control. There's even talks of creating a global government purely on the basis that humans are destroying the earth and we must band together to stop it and safe humanity. I'm not saying that this is how it really is, but just giving you an idea of how it COULD have happened. I don't think it takes a stretch of the imagination to believe that people would lie to make lots and lots of money.

In 1988 there was a senate hearing on the topic of global warming where Jim Hansen was presenting his findings. This got loads of media headlines as he talked about how the earth was the hottest it had ever been since the invention of recording instruments. Al Gore was even there that day at the hearing. What the media didn't mention was that the hearing was intentionally scheduled to be on the hottest day of the year and the night before some people opened the windows so the air conditioner couldn't keep up with the hot air. So when this hearing finally took place, it was blazing hot in the room where the senate hearing was. So here this "scientist" gives this impressive presentation on how the earth is heating up and everyone is sweating like crazy because of the heat. OF COURSE the people there are going to believe everything he said. It was a the perfect plan. This whole story was covered in a PBS special back in 2007, here's a video of it.

So with all that being said, we can start to wonder how much truth there is in this idea of "global warming". But what about research for the other side of the argument? How much of that has been done? Well if the idea of global warming was first brought to the attention of the public back in 1988 then they can't have had THAT much data in the subsequent years to prove for or against global warming. Well this year Prof. Richard Linsen of M.I.T. has completed 20 years of research in the area of global warming. He is the foremost meteorologist in the world. The general consensus of scientists previously was that as temperature increased, the amount of heat getting out into space would go down, due to CO2 insulating the earth. However, Linsen's 20 years of research shows that the exact opposite is true and that, in fact, as temperature increases, so does the amount of radiation escaping the atmosphere. So, lo and behold, CO2 has little to no effect on the temperature of the Earth. Here are two videos featuring Lord Monckton who has recently been raising attention about the issue.

As time goes on, more and more people are calling "global warming" the "Greatest hoax in the history of the world". If you don't believe me, go Google it yourself. There is lots of information on the topic. And if you still don't believe it then that's your own decision. But at least keep all this in mind when you start hearing about all these governmental decisions relating to "Climate Debt". Are you really ok with people taking your money and giving it to 3rd world countries because we "owe them" for messing up the climate, especially if there is the chance that we might have NOT messed up the climate?

In the end, it doesn't come down to climate change. There may or may not be a problem but that is not what this is about. This is about people looking for an excuse to take away your freedoms to gain more power.

The end of capitalism and the free market

If I told you today that our government was going to be fundamentally transformed and capitalism and free market was going to be done away with would you believe me? Furthermore, would that bother you? I'm not asking you here if you think capitalism and free market are perfect, I'm asking if you think that they need to be replaced with something completely different, something called socialism.

This isn't about health care, this isn't about helping those in need. This is about the fundamental system that makes our country work as we know it. The system that made it what it is today. As I see it, there are two ways that you could argue against capitalism. Either you say, "Capitalism doesn't work and needs to be replaced", or you say, "Socialism is better than Capitalism and we should switch to that."

How many of you would agree with the 2nd one? I can't imagine many raising their hands, and if they did, can you name me a socialist/communist country that you think is better off than the US? Can't say I've seen thousands of people flocking to live in China. If you really doubt the government created by our founding fathers then why and how has the US become the great nation it is today? Do you think they made a mistake? No, I think they did a pretty good job. It's gotten us this far, it'll get us the rest of the way. If you think there needs to be change, a fix to the corruption, then change it back to the way it was originally intended, don't throw it away and go with a plan that is guaranteed to be a step backwards.

Socialism/Communism are not new ideas, they've been around forever. If you want to see how they turned out just go read a history book. How many people died in Chairman Mao's rise to power? I've heard estimates of around 70 million people dead (if you don't believe me, look it up for yourself), that's 12 times as many people than those who died in the holocaust. And yet would you believe me if I told you people high up in our government look to this very man for guidance and direction in their life?

Lets look at the other angle, "Capitalism doesn't work and needs to be replaced." Again, if it doesn't work then why are we arguably the most powerful nation on the planet? Why do people flock to the US with their hopes and dreams. People come here to make it big, they come here to have their lives saved by the worlds finest doctors, and they come here to live with freedom. But at the current rate and direction we're headed, that freedom won't be around much longer.

I hate to sounds like I'm preaching doom and gloom, but the fact is nobody else is, and people are unaware what is going on. Just suppose that the press really is controlled by the government and the Obama administration. They could easily feed you exactly what you want to hear, "Everything is ok", "This change will benefit everyone!" They tell you it's all going to work and slowly sign your constitutional rights away. Ya, I may be wrong, but what if I'm right? What if everything I say is truth? How would you feel to wake up one day in a country that looks nothing like what you know today? Saying "Oops, we made a mistake" isn't going to cut it. So even if there is a chance, a small possibility that I'm right, don't you want to be a part of that? Don't you want to have a say in what goes on? Or do you want to wake up with the realization that you did too little...too late.

Here are two clips from the Glenn Beck show where he reveals his blue curtain of revolutionaries. I strongly recommend you watch the whole show but for the sake of time, these are the ones that matter. I know not everyone agrees with what Beck says, but watch them for the videos, for the quotes. Watch it with an open mind.

Great interview on Fox with Rush

I've been working on a large post relating to global warming but haven't found the time to gather some of the videos I wanted. In the mean time there was this interview on Fox that I found interesting. Do watch it, points out several things you might not have been aware of.
